Tree & Forest Photography Prints

I'm always looking for the old ones — the gnarled, the stately, the trees that have clearly been through something. A tree that's stood in one place for a thousand years has a story to tell, and you can read a lot of it in the bark and the twist of the limbs. I practice bonsai at home for the same reason, in miniature: there's something in the shape of an old tree that I can't stop paying attention to.

These range from bristlecone pines old enough to predate most of recorded history, to the alien, spine-covered Joshua tree, to the quiet understory of an aspen grove. Each image is available as a limited edition fine art print.
