Utah wildflowers at sunset with sun starburst

Logan, Utah

Torchlight

Chamisa, commonly know as Rubber Rabbitbrush, is a pervasive shrub found throughout Northern Utah. Most of the year it’s just an annoying weed that you wouldn’t give a second glance, but in the fall it turns vibrant yellow. In the right light, like an autumn sunset, those colors can burn orange and gold and be pretty magical to behold.
