Osaka Reflections
After a brief half day in Osaka — nowhere near enough, by a long shot — we finished the day inside the castle grounds. They’re immaculately kept, which we’d got used to everywhere in Japan, but the scale of them was something else. I walked around for a while and shot from a couple of positions before settling here for sunset. The manicured black pines and the stone lantern are what make it for me; without them the castle is just a castle. Next time I’m going inside and up.
