Serpentine
This shot is my take on the world famous Snake River Bend photo by Ansel Adams, taken in 1942. Adams’ shot was taken from an elevated view and the height of the trees at the time gave a clear, s-curve view of the river winding through the frame. Today, the trees are a lot taller, having grown freely for nearly 80 years, obstructing more of the river, but it’s still an incredibly majestic location that shouldn’t be missed.
